Maturity or Hypocrisy? Grownups are the biggest hypocrites of all. I remember as a child calling my father out on something he would tell me not to do though I would catch him doing it. Upon pointing this out to him, he would reply in his angry tone, “Do as I say, not as I do.” Our virtues and morals go right out the door.
